KUTA

Kuta
Kuta Beach is now fully commercialized with all facilities available to the tourist. Night life is one of its top attractions, with many disco's and pubs open every night. Kuta has been able to keep it's beauty and image of a tropical island destination with the beautiful white sand beach and world famous surf spot of Bali's south shore. For most tourists today, it is a great spot to base yourself, providing many activities within such a small radius. The shopping is superb, chic boutiques, French restaurants, McDonald's and of course The Bali Hard Rock Café. If its excitement you want try 150 feet of pure adrenaline from Bali Bungy or slide down Waterbom Park. For those tourist that want to see the real Bali, you need only step out of Kuta and you will gain a feel and taste of Bali's traditional lifestyle.

SANUR

Sanur
Sanur is Bali's largest coastal village. This sleepy fisherman village has become an elite international resort with several hotel complexes offering first class accommodations with every modem facility yet retaining much of the Balinese character. Situated on the southeast coastline and sheltered by the coral reef, the waves are much gentler compared to Kuta. Village life goes on very much as usual under the coconut palms. Kite-flying competitions are regular events in the rice fields surrounding Sanur. Monstrous paper kites need up to six men to get them airborne. In the evening the sounds of practicing local gamelan can be heard drifting through the night air, while on the top of the Grand Bali Beach Hotel a night club is in fail swing.
